The story begins when Hana, Saaya, and Homare from Hugtto! PreCure take Hagutan out for her flower garden debut. All of a sudden, the monster Usobaakka appears. He attempts to change the world into the one filled with lies and kidnaps Saaya and Homare. Hana learns the girls of Maho Girls PreCure! and Kirakira PreCure a la Mode are also his targets and decides to support them. During the battle, Hana remembers one unfulfilled promise from Usobaakka's word "Promises are lies that can't be kept by anyone." It was Hana's very important promise with a boy named Clover, whom she met in a strange world in her childhood. She gradually realizes the promise is the beginning of this big trouble. In cooperation with the PreCure girls in three generations, will Hana be able to beat the strongest enemy Usobaakka and fulfill the promise with Clover?

In order to protect Hug-tan, Hana wishes to do something to help her, and her wish is granted, as she gains a Mirai Crystal and transforms into Cure Yell. The world is overflowed with Tomorrow Powerer, which is the power to create a brilliant tomorrow, which is crystallized into the Mirai Crystals. If it's stolen, everyone's future will not exist. To protect Hug-tan and everyone's future, Cure Yell will do her best!

One day, she encounters a fairy named Pekorin, who is able to detect "Kirakiraru", an element residing in sweets. However, an evil fairy starts to steal the Kirakiraru for themselves, leaving the sweets black and lifeless. Determined to protect the sweets, Ichika gains the power of the Legendary Patisserie and transforms into the Pretty Cure, Cure Whip, to protect the Kirakiraru.

Mirai Asahina, a 13-year-old girl who's going into her second year of middle school, witnesses a mysterious object fall in to the park. Excitedly, she brings her stuffed bear Mofurun with her to see what it was. When she gets there she sees a girl named Riko flying on a broom. Mirai has a lot of questions, and Riko explains that she's searching for something. The two of them are wearing similar pendants. Then Batti, an ally of the dark magic user Dokurokushi, appears before them and demands the "Link Stone Emerald." Batti creates a monster called a "Yokubaru" and drives them into a corner. Mirai, Riko, and Mofurun join hands and speak the magic words "Cure-Up Rapapa," their pendants glow, and they become the legendary Precure.
