What happened to Shoutarou, Phillip, and Sokichi Narumi on the night "Kamen Rider W" was born?..... 

After the escape from Shadow Fuuto and subsequent battle, Tokime resolves herself seeking out the truth behind the origins of Gaia Memories, Kamen Rider W, and her connection to that shadowy city. Later than night, Shoutarou has a heart to heart with Tokime recounting his painful past and fateful night where everything began, named by Phillip: "Begins Night". A story when dopants started to appear in Fuuto and how a young Shoutarou became private investigator Sokichi's assistant, and tried to follow in his footsteps.

In the ecologically-minded city of Fuuto, mysterious devices resembling USB flash drives called Gaia Memories are used by criminals and other interested parties to become monsters called Dopants, committing crimes with the police force powerless to stop them. To make matters worse, the Gaia Memories carry a dangerous toxin that cause their users to go insane to the point where they could die from the life-threatening devices. After the death of his boss, the self-proclaimed hard-boiled detective Shoutarou Hidari works with the mysterious Philip to investigate crimes which involve Dopants. Using their own Gaia Memories, Shoutarou and Philip use the Double Driver belts to transform and combine into Kamen Rider Double to fight the Dopant menace and keep Fuuto safe.
