Nuclear testing has resulted in the abrupt evolution of the Fumoon, a tiny but highly intelligent humanoid race on a small island, who are detected by Dr. Yamadano. Except for a few witnesses including the detective Shinsaku Ban, and the young men Rock and Kenichi and Kenichi&rsquo;s sister Pichi (Pinoko), no one believes him. The Fumoon are kidnapping animals from around the world to bring with them as they use their space ships to evacuate the earth, because they know Earth is shortly to be destroyed by an enveloping cloud of black gas created by a stellar explosion. The Fumoon intend to abandon mankind, but one Fumoon, Rokoko, who becomes good friends with Kenichi, tries to help Dr. Yamadano and the others to develop a space ship to allow a few humans to escape, with the help of Dr. Ochanomizu and Dr. Frankenstein.

In the distant year 2003, Japan is a technological utopia, and robots are everywhere. One such robot, Tobio, was built by the brilliant Dr. Tenma to replace his dead son. In a jungle in Africa right on the equator there was a white lion, Panja, who was called the "Emperor of the Jungle." But Panja is killed by a hunter. His wife, the Queen of Jungle, who has been caught by the hunter, gives birth to the son of Panja on a ship bringing them to a zoo. She names her son "Leo" and has him escape from the ship, saying, "Go back to Africa and become the successor of your father." Then a storm comes and the ship is overturned, and sinks with the Queen on it. Leo is washed up on the beach of a port town in the Arabian Peninsula, not Africa. This is where Leo's long adventure begins.


One day life in the peaceful little village known as Jusanri is disrupted by the sudden and unexplained appearance of a convoy of construction trucks. After a young boy named Kenkichi dies in a hit-and-run, the villagers’ amazement quickly turns to aggressive opposition.

This work is a Manga aimed at adolescents, focusing on a young man who dreams of animated filmmaking, and puts his heart into it. 
A visionary boy named Miyamoto Musashi, who comes to Tokyo dreaming of producing Manga films (animation), visits a Manga filming company, but veteran Manga film writer Danmatsuma flatly tells him that the movement factor in his drawings lacks vitality. 
In the meantime, Miyamoto Musashi meets a boy named Sasaki Kojiro, who also aspires to produce Manga films. Although they become friends instantly, they later part after a quarrel, and became rivals. 
After being provoked by yakuza, Musashi meets Otsu, a daughter of the leader of the yakuza family. In retaliation, the yakuza burns his 50,000 animated films and his movie equipment, and damages his eyes. But Musashi's memories of his beloved horse Ao in his hometown encourage him, and he regains the courage to start producing Manga films featuring Ao.

"Captain Atom" is a science fiction Manga whose theme is the coexistence and conflict between humans and aliens from another planet. The character "Atom" made his debut in this work. The setting is the future Earth. 
One day, a large number of aliens from "another Earth" descend to the Earth. This "other Earth" was exactly the same as the Earth had been in the past: it had Japan, the United States and other countries where creatures just like human beings lived. But the "other Earth" was completely destroyed by an explosion and its former inhabitants have since been wandering in space for thousands of years aboard a spaceship. 
At first, Earthlings welcome the aliens from the other Earth, but they soon begin to fight when the Earth is severely hit by famine. Alien hunting becomes rampant, and humans and aliens face a crisis of a full-scale war. Then comes ATom, a humanoid robot. Atom visits the spaceship alone to negotiate with the aliens. The first story is a story staged in the Civil War period of American history, in which Monster, who appeared in Angel Gunfighter, plays a villain. The second story is anecdotal: it is about a purse that can fulfill three wishes. The purse was given to Chieko, a poor farmer, by the deity of poverty. Next, examples of 4-strip Manga follow, including the "Diary of Ma-chan." The last story is an all-star-cast thriller Manga, featuring Kenichi, Higeoyaji, Rock and others.
