Nina is a member of Rat Production's idol group, Fruit Tart, and is in charge of costumes. Ever since she was a little girl, she had been a fashion model for western-style clothes. But now at age sixteen, Nina's height increased - and continues to increase - rapidly. This resulted in difficulty finding work as a model in Japan since such in-demand fashion clothes could barely fit her.

She is sometimes the biggest draw of Fruit Tart, owing mostly to her physical appearance and not necessarily because of her singing or dancing.

Somewhat the antithesis of Roko, Nina is seen as timid and soft-spoken, and just as likely prone to tears whenever she is put on the spot. Like Roko, she is sensitive about her stature and had somehow developed a love for small things as a way to cope with her size. Because of this, her self-proclaimed height of 170 centimeters (5-foot 7-inches) is probably an exaggeration, as she is likely to be much taller in reality.

Nina naturally takes a liking towards Roko and both of them manage to find support in each other for their insecurities. She is also quite attracted to various scents and fragrances, which often causes her to completely lose focus.

Fourth dormitory of the Rat Production (commonly known as Nezumi-sou), the place were dropout idol girls live; the former child actor Sekino Roko, musician Nukui Hayu, and model Maehara Nina. Sakura Ino, who always dreamed of becoming an idol, moves in. At the same time the decision is made to demolish the dormitory. Due to the project launched by the manager Kajino Hoho, "Ochikobore Fruit Tart," occupants of the dormitory form a new idol group called "Fruit Tart," and start their activities in order to repay a one hundred million yen debt.

Former showbiz stars Roko, Hayu, and Nina live together in a dormitory for dropout idol girls. As timing would have it, young dreamer Sakura happens to move in with the other girls just as an announcement is made to tear down the dorm due to a 100-million-yen debt!<br>

This leads to the unexpected formation of a new idol group called Fruit Tart. Their sole mission: earn some yen and stop the demolition.<br>

Xanthe Huynh is an American voice-actress of Vietnamese descent. Huynh's path to acting began during a course in theatre acting during an elective course while in middle school. She fell in love with acting and continued on the acting path throughout high school and her passion eventually led to her graduating with a degree in Dramatic Arts at the University of Irvine in California. 

Huynh also enjoyed anime as a hobby and confided in her friends if there was any way to combine her two loves. Her friends were supportive of the idea and pushed her to try out for Anime Expo's voice acting competition called AX Idol. She would eventually make it as a finalist and was invited to audition for, and eventually signed with Bang Zoom! Entertainment and is still currently working for them since 2008, and is currently based in Los Angeles, California. 

Since signing, Huynh has gone on to voice minor and major character roles in anime and video games in major productions. Besides voice acting, Huynh also enjoys cosplaying, which is proudly displayed on her Instagram.
