~!He is the Servant of one of the series' main heroines, Rin Tousaka. Due to an incomplete summon, he apparently has no memory of his previous life or identity. Archer is sarcastic and cynical but under his hardened exterior lies a complex and dark personality that unfolds throughout the story. Though skilled with ranged weapons, he can hold his own in melee combat. Archer considers Shirou Emiya's idealism to be weak and delusional, recognizing the mentality of "wanting to save everyone" as naive and impossible.

Archer is actually a future version of Emiya Shirou, who became a hero through Emiya's wish to save innocent lives. After his death he became a Counter Guardian, a Spirit deployed to maintain balance and prevent humanity's extinction, but without the ability to act on his own he was forced to kill and face the fact that his ideals were not realizable time and time again. 

To escape this cycle the only hope for EMIYA was to be summoned as a Heroic Spirit and kill his past self before he became a Counter Guardian, which would cause a time paradox and release him from the cycle.!~

Raised by a mysterious sorcerer after the death of his parents in a catastrophic fire, Shirou Emiya has only just begun to learn small tidbits of magic. Kaiji Tang is an American voice actor working primarily in Los Angeles. Kaiji was primarily known to the majority of anime fans as one of the panelists on AnimeTV until he made the transition into voice over acting and had his first major role as the unusual character of Sputnik in Kite Liberator. Fate/school life is a comedy 4-koma manga revolving around the normal life at school of the minor characters of Fate/stay night and Fate/Hollow Ataraxia, specifically the character Himuro Kane, classmate of Fate/stay night protagonist Emiya Shirou. 

This manga by Mashin Eiichirou is a spin-off that tells the normal school life of the supporting characters Himuro Kane, Makidera Kaede, Saegusa Yukika. Other characters are the regular cast of the main games: Mitsuzuri Ayako, Tohsaka Rin, Ryuudou Issei, Matou Shinji, Emiya Shirou, Kuzuki Souichirou, Fujimura Taiga, Matou Sakura, Mitsuzuri Minori; "guest" characters from other series Ciel, Seven, Sajyou Ayaka (formerly the heroine of the never finished prototype novel of Fate/stay night) are also featured, and other classmates Gotou Gai, Fujimoto, Dezaki, Hirumata.

The plot of Fate/hollow ataraxia is based half a year after the events of Fate/stay night. Like its preceding counterpart, the story is set in Fuyuki City. Bazett Fraga McRemitz, a member of the Mages' Association and a master in the 5th Holy Grail War, wakes on the fourth day of the 5th Holy Grail war with a new servant, Avenger, and no memory of what happened to her beforehand. She and Avenger set off to fight and win the Holy Grail War. 
Meanwhile, Shirou Emiya lives a peaceful life with all his friends from the 5th Holy Grail War. After one of her experiments changes time and space, Rin Tohsaka leaves for the Mages' Association in England to fix things. The Servants sense a new danger while dark creatures appear soon afterward. Shirou, as a precaution, sets off to ensure nobody is in danger and instead finds himself frequently meeting a mysterious girl, Caren Ortensia. 
Both Bazett and Shirou find themselves in time loop that lasts four days, beginning of the fourth day of the 5th Holy Grail War. Each time they die or survive four days, they always awake on the first day of the loop aware of what has happened to them since the first time loop began. Determined to end the loop, Bazett, Avenger, and Shirou fight to discover the truth behind what's causing the endless four days.

Sakura visits the Emiya residence every day, hoping to spend dreamlike, peaceful days with Shirou... Meanwhile, Matou Shinji begins preparations to summon the Holy Grail, using Sakura as a sacrifice to challenge the Holy Grail War.
